The data shown on this graph demonstrates different circumstances surrounding the Newark Riot in 1967. Looking back to the previous data collected on the riot I see a clearer pattern of what went down in 1967. After a day the violence seemed to have a large instant spike of violence after 7:30 on Friday after that there was a massive increase in violence. The events in Newark led to the deaths of many civilians and police just from the data alone should classify it as a riot. With how quickly events escalated and led to the first deaths should demonstrate the levels of violence that occurred, the classification of Newark as a riot is deserved and did not alter my previous opinions.
